Typical Catalan PA AMB TOMAQUET-ken essien

Pa amb tomaquet (bread with tomato)is a typical preparation of catalan that consist of
bread optionally toasted with tomato rubbed over and seasoned with olive oil
and salt.Sometimes garlic is rubbed on the bread before rubbing in the tomato.

DIRECTIONS
1.Toast the bread under a hot grill.
2.while warm,rub each slice on one side with a cut
garlic glove.
3.Halve the tomatoes crosswise and rub one side of the toasted bread with tomato half,
allowing the juice,seeds and season with a title of salt.Serve topped with slice cheese,serrano
ham or fuet or sausage

puyol was born in 13 april 1978 in la pobla de segur,catalonia spain.He is a spanish player who plays in fc barcelona and the national team.He also served as longtime team captain,after taking over from Enrique on August 2004.Puyol started playing football for his hometown as a goalkeeper.however.after injury problems of his shoulder,he switched to striker. In 1995,he moved to join barcelona's youth team,switching positions again,play as a defensive mid fielder.In 1997,puyol stepped up to play for the club team-b,ocupying the position as right back.In 1999,he was promoted to the first team.IN 2002 he was awarded''best European right back'' award by UEFA and best european centre back''UEFA club best defender'' in 2006.
