Barcelona Zoo opened in 1892.The animals came from the private collection Codolar Lluís Martí i was at his farm in Horta.In the Zoo you will find more than 40 natural areas, recreating the conditions of more than 400 animal species.The zoo also has a dolphin show, where we show how clever they are.

Shopping Heron city+Noemi Haro

Heron City, opened its door on 20 September 2001. It's the brainchild of Gerald Ronson.
You can find Coffee and tea bars, an alehouse, ice-cream parlours and fast-food franchises. Visitors to Barcelona with young children can book into the neighbouring Hotel Ibis.

There's a ten-metre swimming pool on-site, and a health and fitness centre.
in Heron city there are many types of shops:

And Open Cor, which is a grocery store, plush toys, magazines and even movies, which is always open.
You can also watch movies in Cinesa, which is a set of movie theaters.
